A £15 entrance fee (covers the costs of textbooks and resources) will be taken at enrolment.
INTRODUCTION
Darlington Islamic Academy provides Children’s Madrasa Classes for children aged 6 to 16, boys and girls, which are taught by qualified ‘Ulamā and ‘Ālimāt. These classes are ideal and designed for young children to learn and acquire the basic and fundamental Islamic knowledge which are essential to a Muslim’s day-to-day life. It comprises of lessons on Qā’idah, progressing to Qur’ān, ‘Aqīdah, Fiqh, Aḥadīth, Sīrah, History, Arabic language and many more.
COURSE OUTLINE AND SYLLABUS
Qā’idah, Juz ‘Amma and Qur’ān:
Each child is selected and placed in these classes based on their capability and ability.
‘Aqīdah, Fiqh, Aḥadīth, Du’ās, Sīrah, History and Arabic language:
These subjects are covered for all, in accordance with the level of understanding and progress of children, which have been based on the curriculum of An Nasihah Publications and Safar Academy.

REQUIREMENTS
The minimum entry age is 6. No prior knowledge or skills are necessary. However, the children should be independent in utilising the toilets.
FEES
The fee for each student is £600 per academic year. This can be split over 10 months (£60).
